The following software users need to follow the below given TRAI Regulation:-

5) Insure Magic SMS (Multi Insurer)
6) eCRMagic SMS Users

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has given a directive to all telecom service provider of India to prefix an Identification Code before Sender ID of every Application based SMS.

In view of the above, all registered sender ID’s character length will be reduced to a maximum of 8 (Earlier 11 characters). If the sender ID has more than 8 characters, last extra characters will truncated automatically while receiving message on handset.

For e.g.   If sender ID is FundzMagic, Message will be received on handset with the sender id AM-FundzMag. In this AM- indicates Airtel Mumbai as originating SMSC, similarly if the first 2 characters are LM, it means the originating SMSC used is BPL and circle is Mumbai.

For those of you, who use Mobile number as a SENDER NUMBER :

You are requested to WHITE List your Mobile numbers which you are using in the software for sending SMS Messages. For WHITE LISTING Plz log on to our Website www.datacompwebtech.com and SUBMIT your Mobile No. against your Software LICENSE KEY (Maximum 3 GSM Mobile numbers).

After you SUBMIT your Mobile number it will take next 2 Business days OR 48 hours to ACTIVATE the Mobile number into your software.

If you don’t WHITE LIST your Mobile number then a DEFAULT mobile number set by the operator will be sent as a SENDER NUMBER against your SMS Message.

Therefore you are requested to SUBMIT your Mobile Numbers as early as possible.
