1. What is Machine Change Option & how many times in a year can you use this option ? |
Machine Change (M/C) option is connected with your MagicSMS software license, which can be used for transferring your license from one machine to another but has restriction of maximum 2 times in a year it can be transferred from one machine to another. Over & above to it, there will be an additional cost & will take 2 business days for processing it.

2. How can you purchase SOTS Credits?

You can purchase SMSes (SOTS) in 3 ways:-
1) Contact any of our nearest Distributors / Resellers / Dealers or Branch office.
2) Visit www.datacompwebtech.com & pay via Credit Card / Debit card.
3) Draw a Cheque/DD in favour of “M/S. Datacomp Web Technologies (I) Pvt. Ltd” & deposit in account No. 00600330002216 in the nearest HDFC Bank. And after which send us the scanned copy of the deposit slip at magicsmssupport@insuremagic.com for processing your order.

3. What is this New Sender ID Policy ?

TRAI Regulation for Sender ID
As per the New TRAI Regulation w.e.f 26th January 09, you will now have only 8 characters in the Sender ID (Earlier 11 Characters) with prefix of 3 characters for identifying the OPERATOR. Eg:- “AM-MagicSMS” where “A”- Stands for AIRTEL & “M”- Stands for MUMBAI, preceding with your 8 Characters SENDER ID.
TRAI Regulation for SENDER NO.
As per the New TRAI Regulation w.e.f 26th January 09, you will now have to WHITE LIST your MOBILE NUMBER for having your Personal Mobile Number as a Sender Number for sending an SMS messages to RELIANCE Mobile recipient, for doing so – you need to log on www.datacompwebtech.com & SUBMIT your Mobile number for WHITE LISTING, which will take minimum 2 Business days to get it ACTIVATED. For the time you can send messages to RELIANCE Mobile Numbers with our DEFAULT Number (+91 9212559197).

| 4. Would I be able to use both version of the software or should I delete the older version? |
You don’t have to remove the old version in order to install MagicSMS release version 3.0. You have to just overwrite the old installed version with the new version to upgrade your software.

| 5. How will I get my license of MagicSMS software, in case i FORMAT my PC? / Reload windows operating system? / Hard-disk crash ? |
MagicSMS has a very smart licensing system in which even though your computer is Formatted / Reloaded / Crashed, still the license can be retrieved from the same machine. The only thing you need to do is reload the MagicSMS software & select REGISTER option -> Existing user, & fill the complete information and license it.

6. What precautions I need to take in case I am formatting my computer due to some reason? |
In case you are formatting your computer you need to make sure that you are taking backup of your MagicSMS database stored in c:\MagicSMSEnterpriseNew\data folder. Copy MagicSMSEntNew.mdb and store it in any other hard drive or Pen drive, so that you can restore it after reloading MagicSMS Application.

| 7. What will happen to the SOTS balance if we install the new version will it get carried forwarded to the new version or not? |
Yes, your SOTS balance will get carried forward from the older version to the new version once you update your software.

8. What should I do in case my customer complains, not to send any marketing SMS communication to him? |
In case your customer expresses you that he should not be disturbed with any kind of marketing messages, Instead of deleting his mobile number from the Address book / Application, Add his mobile number under Black list > Broadcast messages, which will take care of ignoring any marketing messages to his mobile number, thus respecting his request.

| 10. When I repeat a message to the same mobile number the status of Message shows ignored. |
In this Case you just need to change the settings from the Preferences setting option from the software, where we have this option Allow to send Duplicate Message. You just need to select Yes option instead of No and save the settings and retry it.
The objective of this setting is to avoid duplicate messaging.

| 11. Sometime when I open my software it shows me Internet connection not active your SOTS refilling will fail instead of having a Good internet connection. |
In this case there might be some Spy ware issue with your System So you need to follow the below steps in such scenario.
- Go to WWW.NoAdware.net and download the NoAdware on your System.
- After downloading you need to scan your PC through the Noadware.
- Once the Scan is complete you need to register the copy to delete the detected file.
- For that you just need to click on the register option and Enter the registration details as follows
- NAME : Jada^AoC
- SERIAL: RGKZB-H7VXT-EWV06
- After the registration is successful you can delete the detected file.
- Once the files are deleted your issue will be solved.

| 12. How can I secure my software from being misused by another person ? |
There is a security option in Preferences menu, where you can configure your password for security purpose, after which your application will be asking for SECURITY CODE before opening the software.

13. What is License key and where can I get this key? |
License key is the unique key number which is used for identifying you as a valid MagicSMS software user. To find out your License key, you can start your application & check the first screen where your license key can be available. Secondly you can check in your invoice, which you had received at the time of purchasing MagicSMS software from the Company / Dealer / Distributor or Reseller. Or else contact Datacomp by sending an email @ magicsmssupport@insuremagic.com.

| 14. How a Software company can use MagicSMS application? |
MagicSMS software has a unique feature, which can be used from creating services by linking it with any other package / ERP software with database like: Ms-Access, Ms-SQL Server, Oracle & Foxpro. Once the database is connected with MagicSMS software, you can use the Custom Query feature & write a SQL statement on the basis of which it will pickup the desired data from the database and create a message which can used for communicating any kind of information to the respective customers / parties mobile number.
No need of doing any customization in MagicSMS software, it is a complete wizard based service builder.

| 15. I have not yet purchased this software, How can I check the service of this software? |

The demo copy of this software comes with FREE 10 SMS & 2 sample database (MagicSMS_Sample.xls & MagicSMS_Sample.mdb file) available at c:\MagicSMSEnterpriseNew\samples folder which can be used for testing the complete software with all the advance level services and also test it by sending it LIVE to your cell phone.
